L.E. Clark's Grocery & Deli
Scott's grandparents, O.G. and Lessie Clark, were the original proprietors. The legacy of L.E. Clark's (named for Lessie Estell) has been handed down through the generations to remain family owned for well over 80 years. There have been several locations during these years, but we have been in the same general location for over 50 years. Scott has grown up with most of the community and considers them all extended family.
Tracey, Scott's wife, has worked in different capacities through the years to assist Scott in the daily operations of L.E. Clark's Grocery. Currently employed full-time outside of Clark's, she is still responsible for the daily accounting and payroll functions, advertising/special event planning, and social media updates for Clark's.
About L.E. Clark's Gocery & Deli
L.E Clark's Grocery & Deli is family owned and operated right here in Kingsport, TN.
We are a 3rd generation family owned deli that began with its roots as the corner, neighborhood grocery. Dating back to the 1930's, we have changed not only our location but also our purpose. We are no longer the general store with bit of everything, but have become the best place off the beaten path for affordable, family inspired, comfort foods. Home of the regional favorite, the "Big Hack" burger, we offer something for everyone. Almost 60 years in the same location speaks for itself!

Lucy is Scott and Tracey's daughter and is a recent college graduate and is contemplating her future. She is involved in decisions regarding menu layouts/changes and store design. Although not quite sure what her future holds, she may want to pursue continuing the legacy of her great-grandparents. Time will tell.
For those of you who enjoy the seasonal/holiday decorations that change monthly here at Clark's, we want you to know that all the credit for this goes to "AUNT WANDA". Tracey's aunt has always enjoyed beautifying spaces and she thoroughly enjoys putting her special touch on just about every surface in our dining area! We feel this provides a comfy, cozy touch to an otherwise austere space. So join us in a huge "THANK YOU" to Aunt Wanda!
